Richard Butler

Richard Max Butler, 81, passed away peacefully at Independence Village Raleigh Dec. 15, 2016. Richard proudly served his country, retiring as a Sergeant Major in the U.S. Army National Guard. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Monday at Palmer Memorial FWB Church on Old Garner Rd. Burial with Military Honors following at Raleigh Memorial Park. Richard was preceded in death by his beloved wife Jewel in 2013 and brother, Jack Butler. He is survived by his daughter Traci Butler of San Diego, along with multiple generations of family members whom he treasured dearly. Family will receive friends and family Sunday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM ay Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
