Richard “Lenny” Chapin, Jr

Richard “Lenny” Chapin Jr., 61, departed this walk of life surrounded by his loving family on Saturday. Lenny was born on August 13, 1954 in Framingham, MA to Richard Chapin Sr. and the late Dorothy Corliss. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. A Funeral service will be held at Bryan Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Garner, NC on Tuesday at 6:00pm with military honors. Dr. Robert Dowen will officiate. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Eva P. Evans Chapin; a father, Richard Chapin Sr; two sons, Michael and Jason Chapin; a daughter, Krystal Stanley; three brothers, Barry, Gary, and David Chapin and three grandchildren, Landon and Quinn Stanley, and Londyn Chapin. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Corliss Chapin and a sister, Brenda Chapin. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 4-6:00pm at Bryan Lee Funeral Home in Garner.
