Richard Scott Snow, 65 passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, May 2, 2012.Born in Uniontown, Scott spent most of his childhood growing up in Raleigh, NC.He was a graduate of Garner High School and Campbell University of Buies Creek, NC.Memorial service Saturday May 5, 2012 at 4:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. The family will receive friends and relatives 2-hours prior to the service at the funeral home from 2-4 PM.He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Dickerson Snow of Cary, NC; sons Richard S C Snow and wife Christy, Jason E Snow and wife Noel; step-daughters, Wendy Caldwell and husband Chris, Ronda M Savel and husband Robert; sisters, Deborah S Hazel and Husband Dennis, Rebecca S Viggiani and John; brother Jonathan R Snow and two grandchildren, Camden and Landon.Scotts family and friends will miss him deeply and we will never forget his love and generosity.Scotts profound love for his wife, sons and family was apparent.He was always the first to help anyone without question and worked hard to achieve his goals and dreams.Scott enjoyed travel across the US and Europe and shared the most amazing stories of his adventures.He had apassion for the great outdoors and working in his yard.Scotts amazing talent made anything look beautiful and he would beam with pride from the compliments received. His creative talent also led him to local notoriety of his Christmas decorations.Scott created the most amazing lighted shapes of which were hung in the tall, mature oak trees with care.He would stand proudly along the curb welcoming everyone who drove by after seeing the local news coverage of must see places to see holiday lights.Our family extends deep gratitude to Hospice of Wake County.Their service and compassion for Scott exemplifies the care for which they are known.
