Rita Laudenslager

GARNER - Rita O. (Pete) Laudenslager, 65, died on Easter Sunday. She was born in Buncombe County, the daughter of the late Charles Robert Ownbey and Hilda Morgan Ownbey. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7-9:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner and at Groce Funeral Home, 1401 Patton Avenue, Asheville, NC on Friday from 6-8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Saturday at Groce Funeral Home with burial to follow at Acton United Methodist Church Cemetery, Asheville.Surviving are her husband, Jim Laudenslager; brother, C.A. Ownbey and wife, Sally of Fairview, NC. She was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Ownbey Ebernickel and her brother, Larry Charles Ownbey.
