Robert Ashley Garrett, Jr.

GARNER – Robert Ashley Garrett, Jr., 84, passed away Monday. Born in Florida, he was the son of the late Robert A. Garrett, Sr. and Susie Brantley Garrett. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at First Baptist Church of Garner. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Robert is survived by his daughter, Michelle Garrett Moody; granddaughters, Ciera Moody and Laura Moody; brother, Bill Garrett; sister, Rachel Molpus, and a large, loving extended family and many friends. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Dora Lee Garrett. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Community of Hope Ministries, P.O. Box 1004, Garner, NC 27529.
