Robert "Bob" Smith

Angier – Robert “Bob” Alan Smith, 77, passed away Monday at his home. Born in Allegheny County, PA, he was the son of the late Robert and Audrey Walchli Smith. Bob was the owner and operator of Smith Repair Service and was a lifetime member of the VFW in Angier. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 10th at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:45 pm at the funeral home. Bob is survived by his wife of 27 years, Peggy Smith; daughters, Cathy Opalko and Sheri Pattison (Tori Andrews); siblings, Kenneth Smith (Connie), David Smith, Fred Menzl (Alice), Billy Menzl (Barbara), Walt Menzl and Mary Edgar (Brad); grandchildren, Ryan Staszak (Julie), Hailey Pattison, Brooklyn Andrews, Josh Opalko, Zachary Opalko, Nathaniel Opalko; great-grandson, Dawson Staszak. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Smith; and sister-in-law, Jan Smith.
