Robert "Bob" Tysinger

RALEIGH – Robert Farrell Tysinger, 87, passed away Wednesday at Clayton House Memory Care, Clayton. Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Andrew Carl Tysinger and Margaret Cunningham Tysinger. A celebration of Bobs life will be held on Monday, July 11th at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 10005 Lake Wheeler Rd. Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526. An inurnment will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 10:00-11:00 AM. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Dorothy Medlin Tysinger “Dot”; daughters, Dana Tysinger Niestroy (Michael) of Holly Springs, Jenny Tysinger Hodge (Andrew) of Clayton; son, Dale Edwin Tysinger (Susan) of Fuquay-Varina; brother, James Edwin Tysinger (Marilyn) of Oakboro; grandchildren, Ashleigh Engesether (Matt), Jordan Wattenburger (Matthew), Morgan King (Jason), Nick Niestroy (Kennedy), Kyle Niestroy, Justin Hodge (Rachael), and Jodie Hodge; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Makenna, Meredith, Bethany, Isaac, Logan Olivia, Connor, and Hunter. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Debt Retirement Fund, 10005 Lake Wheeler Road, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
