Raleigh - Robert William Gillespy, 57, died Thursday. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Clayton.Surviving are his wife, Sarah Sally Gillespy; daughters, Elizabeth Gillespy Annis and husband, Kevin of Willow Springss, Alisha Lynn Gillespy of Garner; sons, Brian Matthew Gillespy of Daytona Beach, FL and Paul Robert Gillespy of Garner; father, Roy Gillespy and wife, Diane of The Villages, FL; mother of his children, Denise Joy Gillespy of Garner; sisters, Bonnie Mayer of Saugerties, NY, Brenda Poore of Laurel, MD and Belinda Lloyd of Wendell, NC; brother, Roy Gillespy of Garner; grandchildren, Sabrina Gillespy, Brandon Gillespy and Gavin Annis; 18 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Joan Monica Murphy Gillespy.Bob recently celebrated 30 years with Buhler Aeroglide as a Senior Project Director. He loved his family, and Bobs children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He was also a passionate mentor to many people.
