Robert "Bob" Weaver

Fuquay-Varina, NC- Robert (Bob) Borden Weaver of Fuquay Varina died peacefully with his youngest daughter by his side on February 16, 2023, following a period of declining health. He was 81. He was born on May 27, 1941, in Braintree, Massachusetts, the son of the late Elmer (Buck) Borden Weaver and Josephine (Pustis) Weaver.

The family will be having a private service at a later date celebrating Bob’s life.

Bob worked at Gillette in Boston, MA, now known as Proctor and Gamble as an engineer and product manager for many years until his retirement. He raised his family in Marshfield, MA, and retired in Middleboro, MA. He loved his family, camping in New Hampshire, golfing, fixing things, and telling bad jokes.

Robert was pre-deceased by his wife, Anita Lee (Elliot) Weaver, his son, James Borden Weaver, and his sister, Joanne Rawson.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Weaver) Simmons and her husband, Christopher Simmons of Pembroke, MA; his daughter, Jeannette (Weaver) Curran and her husband, Shawn Curran of Fuquay-Varina NC; beloved grandchildren, Ian Weaver, Casey Simmons, Morgan Simmons, Ryan Curran and Hannah Curran; his sister, Susan Ready of San Diego, CA; as well as many beloved friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
