Raleigh - Robert Conley Bull Beverly, Jr., 77, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, June 5. He was founder and president of The House of Lights, a 50-year-old Raleigh lighting supply business. Mr. Beverly was a native of Hamlet, NC, and a graduate of Needham Broughton High School in Raleigh. He attended NCSU and was a US Navy veteran. Surviving are his wife, Frances Massey Beverly; children, Robert C. Beverly, III, and his wife Michelle of Wake Forest, Cheryl B. Murphy and her husband David of Raleigh, and Scott Beverly and his wife Lynn of Raleigh; brother, Thomas E. Beverly of Raleigh; sister, Sarah E. Beverly of Angier; grandchildren, Brandi Harmon and her husband Miles, Michael Murphy, and Ryan, Morgan, Brooke, and Blake Beverly; and great-grandchildren, Hailey and Logan Harmon. A memorial service will be held at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road on Tuesday, June 10, at 7 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 5 until 7 PM.
