Robert Lee Hume

GARNER - Robert L. Hume (Bob) was born in Elkins, WV to parents Thomas D. Hume and Hilda Camille Stalkner.

He graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Engineering, and was also in the Corps of Cadets. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a professional engineer until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife Marcia J. Hume, sons Scott A. Hume (Tanya), David M. Hume, and daughter Lisa H. Walker (Torian). He is also survived by grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by a brother Thomas D. Hume Jr., and son Eric R. Hume.
