Robert "Lee" Newton, Jr.

Lillington- Robert “Lee” Newton, Jr., 71, passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Wake County, he was the son of the late Robert L. Newton, Sr., and Winnie Apple Newton.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 23rd at Grace Community Church, 2160 Harnett Central Rd. Angier, NC 27501.

Lee is survived by his loving wife, Marisol Newton; daughter, Katherine Mary Newton and husband, Brian Carpenter; sons, Joshua James Newton and wife, Angela Newton-White, Zachary David Newton and wife, Melissa, Andrew Christian Newton and wife, Tracy; grandchildren, Ryan Newton-White, Alex Newton-White, Abigail Newton, Josiah Newton, Peter J. Newton, Anna R. Newton, Kaden Newton, Uriah N. Carpenter, and Caleb E. Carpenter; siblings, Anita Greene, Diana Newton, and Christine Bush.
