Robert M. Hobbs, Sr.

Robert M. Hobbs, Sr. 76, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. Robert worked for Terminix Exterminating for 25 years. He was a loving son, husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. A Memorial service will be held Sat. Dec. 19 at 12:00 Noon at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. The family will receive friends Sat. from 11:00 – 12:00 PM prior to the service. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Ruffin and Eva Hobbs and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy Hobbs; daughters, Annette Pruitt and husband Rusty, Brenda Powers and companion Keith Upchurch; son, Robert Hobbs, Jr. and wife Amy; five grandchildren, Jodi Moore, Tonya McLaren, Owen Powers, Amber Smith and Grant Hobbs and 10 great-grandchildren.
