Robert Dale Stanifer

Mr. Robert Dale Stanifer, 64, was called home on April 14, 2025, from Raleigh, North Carolina. Born on March 25, 1961, in Hamilton, Ohio, Robert lived a life marked by deep faith, unwavering kindness, and a passion for technology and the natural world.

Robert graduated from Ross High School in Ross, Ohio, before pursuing higher education at Southern Ohio College in Fairfield. There he earned his Associate's Degree in Computer Science in 1982. His dedication to learning did not stop there-he went on to earn numerous certifications in computer and technological sciences, reflecting his lifelong enthusiasm for innovation and problem-solving.

A devoted member of Glory of God Christian Fellowship in Raleigh for over a decade, Robert was deeply rooted in his faith. He found joy in fellowship with others and often welcomed friends into his home to share meals and meaningful conversations. His spiritual commitment was evident not only through his church involvement but also through the way he lived-always ready to lend a helping hand and offer encouragement.

Robert was known for his love of nature and could often be found fishing or simply enjoying the outdoors. A computer enthusiast at heart, he balanced his technical interests with a warm sense of humor. He delighted in telling good jokes and pulling lighthearted pranks that brought smiles to those around him. His strong will was matched by an even stronger compassion; he was determined to help anyone in need and did so with grace and humility.

He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Analyn; his mother Alene; two brothers: Michael and wife Sabrina, and Richard and wife Shawanda; three children: Amber (37), Kasey (20), and Isaiah (14); one son-in-law Nathan (38); and one cherished grandson James (4). His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Robert was preceded in death by his father Robert M. Stanifer; maternal grandparents Earl and Ada Slusher; and paternal grandparents Otto and Carrie Stanifer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, located at 1200 Benson Rd., Garner, NC 27529. A viewing will take place on Saturday, April 19, from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at Athens Drive Baptist Church at 1601 Athens Dr., Raleigh, NC 27606. The funeral service will follow immediately at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held afterward at Lakeside Cemetery located at 2712 Oak Grove Church Rd., Angier, NC.
