Robert W. Hollister

The Lord called Robert to his forever home May 14, 2017. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa. to Warner and Vera Hollister. Robert volunteered for Military service in 1942 and served in the Army Air Corp for 3 years. He got his degree at William Jewell College, in Liberty, Mo. He was employed with NCR for 13 years, founded Aircraft Leasing Corp., was a real estate broker in South Florida before moving to Cary in 1985. He developed commercial real estate in Johnston County. Memorial service will be at 11:00 am Saturday May 20, 2107 at Ambassador Presbyterian Church 1010 Schieffelin Rd. Apex. NC Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Matthew D. Hollister and his sister, Virginia Hanke and his twin sister Joyce Ostrowski. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Susan K. Hollister; his son, David R. Hollister and wife Beth Ann and granddaughter Catherine E. Hollister. The family will receive friends and relatives Friday May 19, from 6 – 8 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
