Robin Deitz Long

Mrs. Robin Deitz Long, age 64, of Garner, NC, passed away Sunday Morning, March 14, 2021. She was born, in Columbia, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Harold Floyd Deitz SR. and Bonnie Isenhour Deitz of Hickory. Robin is survived by her husband of 44 years, Robert E. Long, Robin had two children with her husband Robert, a daughter; Amanda M. Penny and husband Michael B. Penny of Clayton. Son; Robert A. Long of Angier. Robin also had four Grandchildren; James Edward Penny, Elizabeth M. Penny, Ella Grace Long and Emerson J. Long. Robin was one of 8 children, preceded in death by her brother Harold Floyd Deitz, Jr, Survived by 3 brothers; Michael Deitz of Conover, NC, Tipton Deitz and wife Betsy of Conover, NC, Brian Deitz and wife Robin of Conover, NC and 3 sisters; Pat O’Brien of Conover, NC, Donna Abernathy and husband Ronald of Conover, NC, Wendy Secrest and husband Kenny of Conover, NC, and one living Uncle, Howard Dean Isenhour and wife Anita of Hickory, NC. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her. Robin worked for Wake County Health and Human services for the past 21 years. She was also a member of C3 Church, and enjoyed serving the community on the C3 dream team. Robin was a beautiful soul and she never knew a stranger. She was an angel on earth and shared unconditional love with everyone she knew. Always a hug and a smile instead of a handshake. We celebrate her life and know she is with the Lord. Celebration of Life service will be held 11:30am. Saturday, March 20, 2021, at C3 Church 8246 Cleveland Road, Clayton, 27520.
