Ronald A. Peed

ANGIER – Ronald Arvie Peed, 51, passed away at home on Wednesday. A native of Wake County, he was the son of Wayne Peed and Gayle Kanon, both of Angier. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 21st at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00-11:45 AM at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow the service at Sandy Grove Cemetery, Angier. In addition to his parents, Ron is also survived by his stepmother, Gale Peed of Angier; stepfather, Jim Kanon of Angier; sisters, Sandee Zechman of Angier, Winona “Windee” Peed of Angier; step-sister, Sharon Etris (Lee) of Yosemite, KY; step-brother, Ronnie Timm (Melissa) of Lake Gaston; aunt, Sandra Young (Kemp) of Benson; special cousin, Lauren Cooke of Bogart, Georgia; nieces and nephews, Raymond Zechman (Elizabeth), Dariene Watkins (Josh), Holly Latta (Ashley), Natalie Espinoza, Sophia Espinoza, Emma Espinoza, Jacob Espinoza, Dalton Etris, Dillan Etris, Chris Etris, Logan Timm, and Hunter Timm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Duke Cancer Institute, dukecancerinstitute.org in Ron’s memory.
