Ronald Odis Roberts

GARNER – Ronald Odis Roberts, 75, went to his heavenly home on March 8, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Ronnie was born in Harnett county and was the son of the late William C. Moore and Louise Moore. He was a graduate of Garner Senior High School, class of 1966.  During his years at Garner Senior High School, he played varsity football.  After high school, Ronnie served in the Army Reserve until November 1974 when he was honorably discharged.  In 1998, he retired as a Right of Way Agent with the City of Raleigh with over thirty years of service.  He was an avid NASCAR and Carolina Tarheel fan.  He spent many hours with his favorite child, Bliss, his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Frances Viverette Roberts and his daughters, Candy King and Monica Roberts.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Roberts.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Bryan Lee Funeral Home, Garner.

Friends are welcome to join the family at the Graveside Service on Monday, March 13, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Historic Oakwood Cemetery, 701 Oakwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27601.
