Ronald Urbanski

Ronald Urbansi, 62, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, died Tuesday. Born in Iselin, NJ, he was the son of the late Ted and Alice Urbanski. In 1971, he graduated from Perth Amboy Vocational Technical School with a diploma in Automotive Repair. After moving to Raleigh in 1975, he worked for Helmold Ford and then Norris Transmissions, where he was a transmissions specialist. In May of 1976, he married Joanne Tereshko. A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 pm Wednesday, April 8th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Joanne Tereshko Urbanski; sons, Ronald A. Urbanski and John Richard “JR” Urbanski; grandson, Riley Urbanski; brothers, John Urbanski (Cheryl), Edward Urbanski (Carol) and Theodore Urbanski ( Cheryl); brother-in-law, Robert Tereshko (Maureen). He was cherished by many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27604 or to UNC Lineburger Center for “Ronald Urbanski Fund”.
