Rosalie B. Stephenson

Rosalie Barbour Stephenson, 90, died Sunday.  Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Rossie Williams Barbour. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Hayes Chapel Church Cemetery. Survivors include her daughters, Joye Ann Stephenson and Doris Stephenson Weiss (Joe Hodor), of Garner; Deborah Stephenson Thompson (Charlie) of Huntingtown, MD; son, Robert Anthony Stephenson of Raleigh; sister, Ruby Crabtree, of Little Rock, AR; brother, Mason Barbour of Garner. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren include:  Chris (Sheryl) Moore of Surf City; Thomas Moore of Raleigh; Greg (Cindi) Weiss of Raleigh; Dawn (Jeff) Stone of Belair, MD and their children Haley, Jonathan and Tara; David (Amber) Thompson of Hyde Park, NY and their  children, Kayden and Max; Kaylie (Anders) Hammersborg of Alexandria, VA; Martin (Chelsea) Thompson of Huntingtown, MD and their children, Jett and Berkeley; Meridith Jacob of Kabul, Afghanistan and husband, Gary, of Andrews Air Force Base, MD. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron B. Stephenson, and son, Aaron Denson (Denny) Stephenson. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
