Rosalie Jackson Smith

RALEIGH – Rosalie Jackson Smith, 76, passed away Sunday at her home. Born in Sampson County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Luddie Godwin Jackson.   Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-1:00 pm prior to the service.   Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Ralph Smith; son, Anthony R. Smith (LuAnne) of Raleigh; grandsons, Brian Anthony Smith, Travis Benjiman Smith (Brittanny), Christopher Michael Smith and Brandon Joseph Smith, all of Garner; great-grandchildren, Abigail LuAnne Smith and Jackson Travis Smith; brothers, Clifton Jackson of Baton Rouge, LA, Wayne and Linwood Jackson, both of Dunn and Gary Jackson of Selma.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Lynn Smith and sister, Dean Myers.
