Rosyval H. Walton

WILLOW SPRING – Rosyval H. Walton, 87, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019. Funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Providence Presbyterian Church, Angier. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 12:15 pm in the upper Fellowship Hall at the church prior to the service and other times at the home. Rosyval was born in Johnston County to the late Amos and Mary Alice Walton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Omalene Barefoot; Katherine Pope and brothers, Maylon Walton and Lavern Walton. A true family man, Rosyval was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He leaves behind to cherish his memory a loving family which includes his wife of 68 years, Barbara S. Walton; sons, Kent Walton and wife, Gwen of Garner, Kevin Walton and wife, Angela of Holly Springs; grandchildren, Courtney Gulley and husband, Jeff, Abbey Walton, Brady Walton, Lily Walton, Nina Walton; and a great-grandson, Wood Gulley; sisters, Elizabeth Wedding and Charlotte Walton, both of Willow Spring.
