Roy Sherrill Johnson

March 2, 1935 - June 15, 2011 CLAYTON- Roy Sherrill Johnson, 76, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born in Johnston County, he was the son of the late W.A. Johnson and Esther Massengill Johnson. Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Monday at Garner Advent Christian Church. Burial will follow at Barbours Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Four Oaks. Survivors include his wife Charlotte Moore Johnson; sons, Michael Johnson and wife, Amanda of Garner and Todd Johnson and wife, Betty of Topsail Beach; sister Pearl J. Byrd of Benson and brothers, Felton Johnson and Clifton Johnson, both of Garner; grandchildren, Madison and Macey Johnson, one step grandchild, Dawn Chaulk and one step great-grandchild, Jaymi Chaulk. The family will receive friends from 3-5:00 pm Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
