Ruben W. Carter

Ruben Wesley Carter, died Tuesday. A native of Sampson Co. and a Surf City resident, he was the son of the late Isham Kenneth Carter and Mae Bell Jordan Carter. Funeral Services will be 2:30 PM, Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Surviving are daughters, Cindy C. Johnson (Phil) of New Hill, Terrie C. Glover of Garner and Sandra C. Dunbar (Jeff) of Wake Forest; grandchildren, Claire, Chris, Wesley, Faith, Luke and Carter. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Clarice Carter, and siblings, Helen, Harmon and I. K.
