Ruby Stallings Mckenzie

Raleigh - Ruby Stallings McKenzie, 83, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, April 7th, at the Hospice Home of Wake County. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Ernest Myatt Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive and friends from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner and at other times at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, P.K. (Mac) McKenzie, son, David C. McKenzie, and great-granddaughter, Charlotte Grace Gardner. She is survived by son Ken McKenzie and wife, Betsy of Raleigh; daughter Lynn M. Bowen and husband, Donnie of Raleigh; grandchildren Summer B. Adams and husband, Dustin of Raleigh, Amanda M. Perry and husband, Brandon of Garner, Donnie L. Bowen, III of Colorado Springs, Co., and Susan D. Gardner and husband, Chris of Benson; great-grandchildren David and Kendall Perry and Jackson Adams; brothers Edward Stallings and Oris Stallings and sister Rachel Coates, all of Middlesex; sister Penny Heyward of Asheville; sister Jo Maxson of Chocowinity; and several nieces and nephews.
