“Rudi” Schatz

Rudi Schatz passed away on July 24, 2019. He was born December 6, 1960 to Edward and Gertrud Schatz. He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother Ron. Rudi is survived by his life partner, Rosemary, his siblings Ed, Alex and Tamara; children Nikolas and Kylan; and grandchildren Iren and Juliette. The family is hosting a private memorial. Some of his loves included traveling, music – listening and also creating silly songs for the kids. He was a lifelong learner. Siblings professed that he memorized the dictionary as a young boy. He was also a good teacher and valued education. Rudi will be greatly missed by family and friends. He had an obsession for computers – constructing them for family and friends. Much of his career was dedicated to designing computer networks and systems. A larger service will be planned at a later date.
