Rudy Honeycutt

Donald R. Honeycutt JR (Rudy) 58, fought a good fight and finished the race “his way” on Tuesday June 14, 2018. Rudy died at 6:51pm at home surrounded by his family. A celebration of Rudy’s life will be held at 4pm on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Saint Andrews United Methodist Church. 1201 Maxwell Drive Raleigh NC 27603. Please come dressed casually because this would be Rudy’s wishes. There will be a visitation following the service. Rudy is survived by his brother William, sister Deborah, their families and extended families. Rudy was a graduate of ECU “Go pirates” and later became a Subway restaurant entrepreneur. Rudy was a simple man with a passion for Golf, a lover of bluegrass music, and found his true calling as a loving and compassionate caregiver for his deceased parents, Don (9/8/2014) and Katie (11/2/2017).
