Russell Eugene Lewis

Russell Eugene Lewis, 57, passed away at his home in Garner, NC on January 1, 2018. Russell was born in 1960 in Newport News, Virginia. An electrician, avid Steeler fan, RV roadster, and softy for animals, Russell will be remembered by his quirky sayings and timeless tales. Russell was a special soul with a huge teddy bear heart who loved spending time with his family. He will be loved and missed by so many, especially “Owie”, granddaddy’s eyeball. He is survived by his wife, Karen Collins; children Jessica Lewis, Kimberley Lewis, Stephen Lewis, Lauren Paul, and Tracy Paul; the light of his life, granddaughter Chloe Robinson; brothers Terry Lewis [Debbie] and John Lewis [Debbie]; and extended family. Russell was preceded in death by his father Grant Eugene Lewis, and his mother, Norma Jean Lewis. Russell’s life will be celebrated at his home on Saturday, January 6th at noon.
