Russell William Rev. Kinkade

Russell William (Bill) Kinkade, 92, died at his home on June 7, 2019. He was born to Thomas Harold and Amy Elizabeth Kinkade on March 14, 1927 in New Jersey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Thomas Kinkade, Jr., Margaret Guthrie and Clara Greevy. Bill was a member of Catawba Springs Christian Church in Apex, NC. He graduated from Bob Jones University with a BA in Bible and a Masters of Divinity Degree. He served in the US Army during WW II. He served his Lord as a missionary from 1955 – 1995 in Hong Kong under Oriental Boat Mission, International Missions and Biblical Ministries Worldwide. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Marilyn; children, Russell William Jr. (Jean), Rachelle Dawn Fisher (Wilbur) and Rhonda Johnston; grandchildren, Matthew Kinkade (Samantha), Tiffany Stearns (Kevin), and Heather Kinkade, Zachary Johnston, Hannah Johnston and Leah Johnston, Joshua Fisher (Karla), Jacob Fisher (Jennifer) and Jonathan Fisher; great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Levi Kinkade. A funeral service will be held at 3:30 pm Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Catawba Springs Christian Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm Sunday at the church, prior to the service.
