Ruth Fiegas

Ruth Fiegas, 92, died at her residence on Easter Sunday. She was born and raised in Germany, and emigrated to America with her husband John over seventy years ago. She raised three daughters in New York and retired to Boynton Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Fiegas in 1993. Surviving are her daughters, Evelyn Wondracek and husband Mirvan of Garner; Barbara Fiegas of Lynbrook, NY and Nancy Steele and husband Richard of Lake Wylie, SC; five grandchildren, Joyce Wenger and husband Michael, Bonnie Fagley and husband Mark, Douglas Wondracek and wife Tracy, Christie Steele Fisher and husband Ray and Ericka Steele and six great-grandchildren, Chase, Leah, Megan, Logan, Grant and Kate. A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service. Interment will be in Boynton Beach Memorial Park, Boynton Beach, FL on Friday at 2:00 PM.
