In loving memory of Ruth Hedgepeth Lambert.
Ruth, beloved by all, passed away on May 18, 2024, at 3:50 AM.
Ruth was born on January 18, 1942, in Neil Creek Township, Harnett County, to Tommy and Annie Lou Hedgepeth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, PFC Marlen Ray Lambert; brothers, James Hedgepeth, Roy Hedgepeth, and Claude Hedgepeth.
She is survived by her brother, Elvin Hedgepeth, and sister Dorthy Matthews; daughters, Sherry Lambert Oates, and Lisa Marlene Lambert; and son, Edgar Ray Lambert; grandchildren, Steven Ray Lambert, Alex C. Lambert, and Garrett Lee. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Ruth’s spirit, kind heart, and love of family and friends will live on with them forever.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at
Abundant Life Worship Center
1530 Langdon Road
Angier, NC 27501
In lieu of Flowers, any donations can be made to the church in honor of Ruth.
