Ruth Jones

Angier- Ruth Pearce Jones, 86, passed away on Thursday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Rupert and Lillian Frazier Pearce. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 8th at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 5th at 7:00 PM at Ruth’s home, 42 Junny Rd. Angier, NC 27501. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Carol Hines, and Susan Jones; sons, Wayne Hines, and Wade Jones; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Elberson; brothers, Jack and James Pearce. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her son, Dale Hines and seven siblings. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce de Leon Blvd. Miami, FL 33134 in Ruth’s memory.
