Ruth Obriant Averette

Garner- Ruth O’Briant Averette, 95, died on Saturday at Piney Grove Nursing & Rehab Center in Kernersville, NC. She was born in Durham Co. to the late Clarence and Eunice Mangum O’Briant. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband. Harold Plumer Averette in 1985 and her son. Ray E. Averette in 1992. Funeral Service will be held at 2 :00 pm on Wednesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Garner. She is survived by a brother; Calvin O’Briant of Kernersville and several nieces and nephews and other family members.
