Ruth S. Gregory

Angier – Ruth Summerlin Gregory, 89, passed away Tuesday at Central Harnett Hospital. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of Malcolm Dennis Summerlin and Novella Reardon Smith. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Angier Baptist Church with burial to follow at Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Fuquay-Varina. Surviving are her sons, Barry Gregory and wife, Kathy, Martin Gregory and wife, Janice, all of Angier; grandchildren, Anna Gregory and husband, Brenden Read of Richmond Hill, GA, Adam Gregory and wife, Angie of Angier, Megan Sorrell and husband, Glenn of Fuquay-Varina, Katie DeGrace of Garner, Nick Chiotakis and wife, Amber of Atlantic Beach, Katie Garwood and husband, Tyson of Garner; Lily and Abbey Gregory both of Angier; great-grandchildren, Selah and Zadie Read, Daisy, Greta and Abel Gregory, Savannah, Luke, Elias and Oliver Sorrell and Tucker Garwood. In lieu of visits at the home the family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 – 4:00 PM for a time of fellowship at Angier Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
