Sadie Ann Barnett

FUQUAY-VARINA – Sadie Lee Barnett passed away quietly and peacefully on November 15, 2022 and went home to her Heavenly Father’s house.

Sadie was a protective and loving mother to her daughters and grandchildren, strong and independent thinking in her life and experiences. She loved studying and worshipping her Lord. She often visited the sick and kept in touch with those she held dear.

Her grandchildren enjoyed spending time with her and hearing all her stories. While most of her life was dedicated to serving her family and close friends, when she worked, she was employed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.

She is survived by her three daughters, Wendy Bryan (Bill), Kimberly Price (Stewart), and Susan Powers (Bill), Nine grandchildren: Patrick Bryan (Julie), Christopher, Bryan (Marissa), Candice Whitley (Eric), Robin Priddy (Dylan), Victoria Price, Philip Price, Valarie Dennis (Josh), Heidi Stevenson (Alex), Kascei Witters and fourteen great grandchildren: Eliza, Benjamin, Conner, Tristan, Piper, Anna, Abella, Shailenne, Charlotte, Jude, Savannah, Rowan, Oliver, Ruth, her brother in law Charles McLaurin, two sister in laws, Edith Wilson and Nancy Wilson, and her husband, Clyde Barnett.

She was preceded in death by beloved husband and father of her children, Albert Lee. Her father, McKenzie Wilson and mother, Mamie Wilson, sister, Marie McLaurin and brothers Raymond Wilson, William Wilson, and Lewis Wilson.

A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1621 Broad Street, Fuquay Varina, NC 27526, to celebrate the life of Ms. Sadie on Thursday, November 17th at 2:00 pm.

Flowers are welcome, but in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in memory of Sadie to the Mission Fund at Midway Baptist Church, Raleigh (www.mid-way.com) or the Shaw Mission Fund at Trinity Baptist Church, Raleigh (www.tbcraleigh.com).
