Samuel Babatunde Ibikunle

Westborough, MA – Samuel Babatunde Ibikunle, 72, passed away unexpectedly on August 17, 2022. A native of Ijaye Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. Samuel was born December 22, 1949, to the late Eldger & Mopelola Olufunmilayo Ibikunle. Samuel worked very hard throughout his life, graduated from Northeastern University, and obtained his master's degree from Cambridge College in Massachusetts. He worked for many years for WebIndustries and developed long-lasting relationships with his colleagues that became an extension of his family. Samuel was a member of the First Baptist Church, where he attended for several years. Samuel was a loyal and passionate fan of the New England Patriots, but he loved his family and friends more than anything.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at Sandy Grove Cemetery, 19715 NC Highway 210, Angier, NC 27501. The family will also have a Memorial service in Westborough, MA. The location and date for the Memorial service are to be determined.

Samuel is survived by the mother of his children, his children, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, sisters, brother, as well as extended family.

In addition to his parents, Samuel was preceded in death by his younger brother.
