Sandra "Sandy" Franks Sanderford

Sandra (Sandy) Franks Sanderford passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023, in Raleigh, NC. She was born on May 21, 1975, in Raleigh, NC, to Richard Alpha Franks and Nancy Blake Franks.

She was predeceased by her husband, Christopher Sanderford. Sandy was a life-long resident of Wake County. She graduated from Fuquay Varina High School in 1993 and was employed by Walmart in Apex.

In addition to her parents, Sandy is survived by her daughter, Alyssa Sanderford of Raleigh; one brother, Scott Franks and his wife, Christy of Fremont, NC; one sister, Wendy Runkal and her husband, John of Wilmington, NC. She was dearly loved by her family that also includes, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Sandy always had a love for animals, so in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the SPCA in your area.
