Scott Redinger

December 10, 1953 — February 10, 2025

Raleigh- Born December 10, 1953, Scott Andrew Redinger, 71, formerly of Wilmington, NC, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 10, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Donna Abernathy Redinger and their 3 children, daughter, Ellen Barrow and husband, Kenny Barrow, son, Nathan Redinger and wife, Allison Redinger, son, Weslee Redinger and wife, Kaylin Redinger. He also has 7 grandchildren, Drew, Jacob and Jesse Barrow, Avery and Blake Redinger, Piper and Beckham Redinger, all of whom he loved dearly. He has 1 brother, Jeffrey Redinger and wife, Mitzi Redinger.

He gave his life to Jesus Christ at the age of 14 and he has followed Christ all his days since.

After graduating from UNC Wilmington, Scott worked with the City of Lenoir Planning Dept. He moved his family back to Wilmington and worked for City of Wilmington housing and development dept. Later, he started Scott A. Redinger, Inc. and helped many find affordable housing. He saw his business as God's business and when he opened a new development, he had a banner displayed that said, "By the Grace of God." Scott always wanted to be sure God got the glory for everything he did.

Scott was a faithful servant and member of LifePoint Church. Even though Alzheimer's disease took over his mind, he loved helping clean the church.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 15th at LifePoint Community Church, 3390 John Adams Rd. Willow Spring, NC 27592. The burial will follow at Middle Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Willow Spring. A time of visitation with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00 am prior to the service at the church.
