Scott Blaney

GARNER – Scott Thomas Blaney, 41, passed away at his home on Saturday. Scott was a native of Long Island, New York. Services for Scott will be held on Wednesday, May 11th at 11:00 am at Vandora Springs Free Will Baptist Church, 1521 Vandora Springs Rd. Garner, NC 27529. The family will receive friends at a reception after the service at the church. Survivors include his father, Thomas Blaney and wife, Carole of Garner; aunt, Alice Long of Ilion, NY; uncle, Robert Blaney and wife, Lynn of Vinton, VA; first cousins, Robert McDonald and wife, Cathy of Glastonbury, CT, and Chris McDonald and wife, Mary of Clinton, MA. Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Lee McDonald Blaney and his grandmother, Norma J. McDonald.
