Scotty Mason

Fuquay-Varina- J. Scott “Scotty” Mason, 58, passed away at Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of James Bennett Mason and Dora O’Connell Mason of Fuquay-Varina.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 3rd at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1621 NC 55 Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 3rd at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier prior to the graveside service. All are welcome to attend the visitation and graveside service for Scotty.

In addition to his parents, Scotty is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Sharon Mason; son, Clint Mason and wife, Misty of Lillington; daughter, Courtney Fuhrman and husband, Tyler of Fuquay-Varina; brother, Marty L. Mason and wife, Scarlett of Lillington; sister, Daphne Russell and husband, Sterling of Fuquay-Varina; one grandson on the way, Jax Tyler Fuhrman; as well as nieces and a nephew, Jordan Mason of Lillington, Ashley Blake and husband, Tyler of Bunnlevel, Savannah Russell of Raleigh, and Caroline Russell of Fuquay-Varina.
