Sharon Ann Korb

ANGIER – Sharon Ann Korb, 69, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 with her family by her side. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 23, 2018 in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Angier with Rev. J.B. Ellis, Jr. officiating. Sharon was born in Elmer Co., New Jersey on August 20, 1948 to the late John Thomas and Marie Blanch (Nungesser) Strang. Sharon enjoyed the beauty of nature and God’s creation, which was evident in her love of gardening and all things that could be done outdoors. She transformed her love of flowers from a hobby into a career, opening Bright Blossoms Florist of Angier where she was the owner and head designer. Sharon’s love for flowers and nature was only surpassed by her love for her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Sharon is survived by her son, Ron Korb of Clayton; grandchildren, Alyssa and Owen Korb of Clayton; sister, Joyce Kirkwood of Latrobe, PA; brothers, John Strang of NJ, Ron Strang and wife, Dewey of Stewart, OH; and a host of extended family, neighbors and friends. As a fitting tribute for Sharon and her love of flowers, the family sincerely appreciates any floral contributions in her memory; especially those as colorful as the life she lived.
