Sharon Ann Warren

On Wednesday, September 15, 2021, Sharon Warren, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and Gmama passed away at the age of 82 surrounded by loved ones. Sharon was born on July 21, 1939 in Superior, WI. She retired from IBM, and on July 29, 2000 she married James “Bucky” Howell. She raised two daughters, Angela and Sonya, and one son, Thomas “Tommy”. Sharon spent many years at the beach soaking in the sun, putting her feet in the water, and entertaining family and friends. She was also an adventurous travel who enjoyed camping where she spent time in Cherokee, NC and the mountains of TN. She was known for her kind and fun-spirited heart, and infectious smile. Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Francis Reinwand and her father, Bud Reinwand, as well as her sister, Marlene. She is survived by her husband, James “Bucky” Howell of Garner, NC. Her children, Angela Lassiter and her husband, Durwood of Willow Spring, NC; Sonya Swinson, of Durham, NC; and Thomas Warren and his wife, Carlene of Wilson, NC. Her siblings, Diane and her husband, Guy of MN; Patty of, MN, and Chuck of MN. Her grandchildren Niekie Zymroz and her husband, TJ of NC; Amanda Brander and her husband, Chris of VA; Grayson Swinson of NC; Chesnee Swinson of NC; and Lennon, Riley, and Avery Warren of NC. Her four great-grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. Her dog, Cassie. Her life will be celebrated on October 2, 2021 at the home of Angela and Durwood Lassiter. Guests will be welcome from 3 to 6 pm. Her family appreciates kind thoughts and prayers. The family is requesting no flowers.
