Sharon Marie Aust

On Tuesday, Sept, 14, 2021 Sharon Marie Aust, loving wife and mother of three children, went to be with her Lord and Savior at age 75. Sharon was born August 14, 1946 in Battle Creek, Mi. She worked at Kellogg’s early on and later served as a church administrative secretary at Calvary Baptist Church in Battle Creek. Funeral service will be at 2:30 Pm Sunday Sept. 19, at MidWay Baptist Church. Burial will be at Salisbury National Cemetery Wednesday Sept. 29, 2021 at 1:00 PM. On November 26, 1966 she married her high school sweetheart Steve Aust and raised two daughters and a son. The family will receive friends and relatives 1-hour prior to the service, from 1:30 – 2:30. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Chuck Byrd. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Steve Aust; daughter, Shannon Shanton and husband Johnny, son, Steve Aust and wife Kim , daughter, Sonya Govier and husband Mike; sisters, Nancy Baumgartner and Ruth Darling; grandchildren, Kayla George and husband Christian, Mariah Shanton, Hannah Shanton, Nate Aust, Lydia Shanton, Josh Aust and Jenna Shanton, and one great-grandchild, Shiloh George.Memorial contributions to the Gideons.
