Sharon Nash Craven

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Sharon Craven, 66, of Willow Spring, NC. She passed away on June 10, 2023, but we know she's now fishing with the angels .

Sharon was born on August 31, 1956, in Raleigh, NC, to Marie and Joseph Nash. She graduated from Garner Senior High. She was a secretary at Winn Dixie, and a waitress at Waffle House and Cracker Barrel. She served up more than just food, though, she always had a side of kindness, patience, and selflessness to go with it. When Sharon wasn't working, she loved spending time at the beach, fishing, and playing with her grand babies.

Her love for her family was unwavering, and she leaves behind her mother, Marie Nash; daughters, April Hand and Morgan Hatcher; sons-in-law, Kevin Hand and Bradley Hatcher; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jase, Avery, Chloe and Wyatt Hand and Levi Hatcher; siblings, Joe Nash, Charlotte Davis, Jane Fallet, and Tim Nash.

We invite you to celebrate Sharon's life with us, on June, 17, 2023, at 3:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner, NC. Let's all raise a glass and toast to the memories we shared with her.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Duke Cancer Research Institution or Safe Haven for Cats.  Sharon was always helping others, and we know she would appreciate any support you can give.

Rest in peace, Sharon. You've reeled in our hearts, and you'll be missed dearly.
