Sheila C. Bailey

Sheila C. Bailey, 80, passed away Monday, August 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. A native of Johnston County, Sheila was born November 30, 1943, to the late Taylor Benton and Pauline Barbour Cash. Sheila married the love of her life, Charles C. Bailey and they had two sons, Chuck and David. After raising the boys, she went to work at Primerica, spending 28 years with the company, before retiring as a Regional Vice President. Sheila would say Jesus was the biggest part of her life. She led VBS and Sunday School classes for more than 25 years. Her life reflected her love for God and others. Sheila loved spending her free time with her family.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 30th at Turner Memorial Baptist Church, 3704 Benson Road Garner, NC 27529. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8PM, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road Garner, NC 27529.

Sheila is survived by her husband, Charles C. Bailey; sons, Chuck Bailey and David Bailey and wife, Nicole; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Linda F. Cash and Paula J. Anderson and husband, Earl; brother, Taylor B. Cash, Jr. and wife, Terri; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
