Shelby “Juanita” Lee

June 2, 1927 — December 27, 2017

LOUISBURG – Shelby “Juanita” Lee, 90, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in the comfort of her granddaughter’s home. Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Susan “Vira” Wall. A graveside service will be held in the mausoleum at Montlawn Memorial Park on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 3:30 pm. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00 pm on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner and other times at the home of Elizabeth Shelby Lee. Survivors include her daughter, Donna Tew and husband, Larry of Chadbourn; son, Michael Lee and wife, Kim of Louisburg; sister, Leta Marshburn of Raleigh; grandchildren, Dawn Ivey and husband, Kent, Donnie Tew, all of Chadbourn, Elizabeth Shelby Lee, David Lee, both of Louisburg; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Kailee Ivey, Caleb and Addison Tew, all of Chadbourn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Lee and sister, Gerry Blackwood. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Transitions Life Care: 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607, ATTN:Donations.
