Shirley Ann Ryals

ANGIER- Shirley Ann Dement Ryals, 75, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Harnett Woods Nursing Center.Shirley, daughter to the late Raymond and Nellie Dement was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a devoted disciple to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her discipleship was evident in her magnetic personality and her love for others. Because of this love, she was known as a selfless servant that never complained. All who knew Shirley loved her, and all Shirley loved, she called family. For this reason, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to our extended family, the entire staff of Harnett Woods and the Dunn Kidney Center. Thank you for the loving care that was given to our precious mother and wife, Shirley.Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow at Devotional Gardens Cemetery on Fairground Road.Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, LaVerne, daughter, Tonia Ryals of Angier; sons, Mark Ryals of Fuquay-Varina; Raymond and Michelle Ryals of Clayton; Dale and Mindy Ryals of Clayton, J. P. and Savannah Ryals of Angier; sister, Dorothy Collins of Arlington, GA; sister-in-law, Ruby Dement of Centerville, NC; fourteengrandchildren and two great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Robert, sisters, Erma and Gaynelle.
