Shirley Ann Van Voltenburg

Shirley Ann VanVoltenburg, 66, passed away Saturday, July 5 at UNC hospital. A native of Millville, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Stewart Morey and Alice Bertha Woolfe Morey. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Roger VanVoltenburg. A Memorial Service will be held Friday July 11, 2014 at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ, LDS, 6538 Johnson Pond Rd, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526. The family will receive friends after the service at the church. Survivors include daughters, Brenda Holguin of Angier, Bonnie Le Blanc and Sharon Oglesby, both of Raleigh; son, Roger P. VanVoltenburg, Jr. of Raleigh; sister, Carol Wilkerson and husband, Joseph of NJ; brother, Bobby Morey of NJ; and 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by sister, Helen Morey and brothers, Thomas, Samuel, Billy, and Alonzo, and Charles Morey.
