Shirley Bullock

Shirley Ann Bullock, 87, was called home by Christ on Monday, March 25, 2024.

There will be a visitation starting at 12:00 pm with a funeral service following at 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Raleigh.

Mrs. Bullock was born in Oxford, North Carolina. Shirley always put others before herself and welcomed anyone into her home. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Shirley spent many afternoons working in the yard with her flowers— she could grow anything.

Shirley spent many years working in the restaurant business. She then found a love for hairstyling and owned her own salon for many years. She also had a passion for serving others.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, John Bullock; parents, Otha and Rosa Humphries; sister, Margie Cobb; brothers, Bruce Humphries, Alvin Humphries, Tom Humphries; and son, Kimmy Lewis Bullock.

She is survived by her son, Mike Bullock (Rhonda); daughter, Sheilah Lowans (Randy); grandchildren, Michael Bullock (Becky), Abi Lowans, Gracie Lowans; great-grandchild, Madalynn Bullock.
