Shirley D. Honeycutt

Shirley Dupree Honeycutt, 81, passed away on Sunday. A native of Harnett County she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. Dupree and Annie Mae Matthews Dupree. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Union Christian Church. Burial to follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the church. Surviving are her husband, Dan H. Honeycutt of 61 years, son, Danny Honeycutt and wife, Glenda of Angier, daughter, Shelby H. Collins and husband, Brian of Angier; grandchildren, Danna Wilson, Bailey and Brooke Honeycutt and Bridget Ferrone, great-granddaughter, Lilie Ferrone; sister, Betty D. Suitt of New Bern. Flowers are appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Union Christian Church, 2164 Neill’s Creek Road, Lillington, NC 27546.
